About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated IT Field Support Technician to support our clinics in WA, based at Mirrabooka but supporting all clinics across Perth Metro as well as Regional (Albany and Geraldton) . In this dynamic role, you’ll provide outstanding customer service and hands-on IT support to clinic staff and doctors across our WA network. You'll also play a key role in the delivery of new IT projects, contributing to the ongoing innovation and improvement of healthcare services.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver responsive desktop and hardware support for computers, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and telephony systems.
- Travel to clinics across WA to resolve IT incidents, complete installations, and support project rollouts.
- Support and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and assist with software and hardware deployments.
- Provide technical input and hands-on support for new IT projects, including clinic setups, RIS/PACS upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Maintain and support RIS/PACS, Active Directory, and clinical systems.
- Participate in incident management, service requests, and escalations.
- Work after hours and weekends when required for project work and critical issues.
- Collaborate with I-MED clinicians, staff, vendors, and internal IT teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in IT field support or service desk, ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and customer service skills.
- Experience with Windows environments, SOEs, imaging tools, Active Directory, and general desktop support.
- A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Full, unrestricted Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel regionally (One week in Albany or Geraldton, every 4-5 weeks).
- Flexible to work after hours and weekends, particularly during project implementations or clinic support periods.
