- Oversee daily medical practice operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, scheduling, theatre coordination, and service delivery.
- Manage staffing, resources, workflows, and operational processes to maintain high performance standards.
- Training the team and making sure the processes are followed as per the doctors policies
- Act as the primary liaison between clinicians, staff, hospitals, allied health providers, and external stakeholders.
- Support doctors and surgeons by aligning administrative processes with their clinical workflows, preferences, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain expertise in Medicare (MBS), DVA, WorkCover, private health insurance, TAC, and compensation schemes.
- Ensure accurate billing, claims processing, reconciliations, compliance, and revenue optimisation.
- Oversee the end-to-end patient administration lifecycle, from referrals through post-operative care and billing.
- Ensure all clinical and administrative documentation is accurate, compliant, timely, and accreditation-ready.
- Develop policies, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous operational improvement.
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Workcover and how the Medicare system works
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
