Job Description
Ramsay Clinic New Farm is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. As our Maintenance Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the safety, reliability, and presentation of our clinic’s facilities. Your work will directly support our clinical teams to deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring our environment is safe, compliant, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. From preventative maintenance to urgent repairs, you’ll keep our operations running seamlessly.
What You’ll Do

Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities across the clinic, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulations

Manage a small, hands-on maintenance team and external contractors to deliver high-quality, timely work
-
Oversee preventative maintenance schedules for plant, equipment, and infrastructure
-
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently

Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, procurement, and asset registers
-
Drive continuous improvement in facility operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability

Ensure all work is carried out with minimal disruption to patient care

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
-
Demonstrated understanding of WH&S requirements
-
Qualification/completion of relevant training in Issuing Work Permits
-
Proven experience in external contactor management, including negotiation of maintenance contracts
-
A willingness to work across trades areas within skill levels
-
Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise tasks effectively
-
Sound level of computer literacy skills
-
Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, ideally within healthcare sector
-
Strong knowledge of building systems, plant equipment, and relevant compliance standards
-
You will be able to provide a comprehensive maintenance service that complies with legislative standards, corporate policy guidelines and approved hospital budgets

Hold relevant trade qualifications or certificates these are not essential but highly advantageous
