Position: Motor Mechanic
Position type: Full-time 38 hours per week
Salary: $79, 423 per annum plus superannuation
Location: St Marys NSW 2760
St Marys Tyre and Wheel Centre based out of NSW 2760 is looking for a reliable motor mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be undertaking the following tasks/duties.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues affecting vehicle engines, systems and components.
· Removing and dismantling engines, transmissions, steering systems and other mechanical assemblies to inspect and assess individual components.
· Repairing or replacing damaged, faulty or worn components and reassembling mechanical systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and service manuals.
· Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, engine adjustments and tune-ups, to maintain vehicle performance and meet applicable emission requirements.
· Rebuilding and reinstalling engines and associated components following repairs.
· Testing, adjusting and calibrating repaired mechanical components and systems to ensure they operate correctly and efficiently.
· Using computer-based diagnostic equipment and specialised testing tools to identify and assess vehicle faults.
· Inspecting vehicles for roadworthiness and identifying repairs or maintenance required to meet applicable safety and roadworthiness standards.
· Attending vehicle breakdowns and providing diagnostic and repair assistance where required.
Requirements:
· AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or
· AQF Certificate IV or
· More than 3 years of work experience
Pay: $79,423.00 per year
