About the Role:
The responsibilities of this position include enrolments, attendance and student services support. In this role you will contribute to the effective and efficient management of our school, by providing a high level of administrative support for the operations of the school, with a focus on student management. This position operates within a fast paced, small team environment and a high level of time management and prioritisation skills will be necessary.
Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Administration Officer - Enrolments & Attendance provides the following services.
Oversee day to day operations of enrolments and provide enrolment management policy advice.
Maintain student administration systems for the purposes of reviewing student enrolment data and producing and distributing statistical data.
Facilitate the maintenance of student information records, including population of the school timetable and associated databases.
Ensure that student files and other official records are kept up to date.
Generate daily reports on absenteeism, send SMS messages to parents/carers, advise and follow up with teachers, and document relevant information on OneSchool and other systems.
Collect and coordinate data to determine and document reasons for absences by students chronically absent, monitor student programs, and provide information to teachers and school leaders where necessary.
Provide administrative support including assistance at the student counter, assistance in managing variations to student timetables including work experience, off campus activities, etc., providing first aid for students.
Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
