Restaurant Supervisor Wanted – Korean Dining Restaurant in Balmain
We are opening a new Korean dining restaurant in the heart of Balmain and are looking for an experienced and reliable Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
This venue will focus on warm hospitality, quality Korean food, and a modern neighbourhood dining experience. We are looking for someone who can help lead the floor, support the team, and create a welcoming experience for our guests.
Position: Restaurant Supervisor
Location: Balmain, Sydney
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Competitive Salary or hourly rate, depending on experience
About the Role
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting daily front-of-house operations and ensuring smooth service during each shift.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising floor staff during service
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing reservations, seating, and table flow
- Supporting staff training and maintaining service standards
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in restaurant or hospitality supervision
- Friendly, calm, and confident during busy service
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
- A strong communicator with good leadership skills
- Passionate about customer service
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Interested in Korean food and dining culture
Previous experience in Korean or Asian restaurants is preferred, but not essential.
