Bath Arms Hotel is looking for reliable, energetic and customer-focused Bar & Gaming Attendants to join our team in Burwood.
We are seeking team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, take pride in delivering great service and are comfortable working across both bar and gaming operations.
About the Role
As a Bar & Gaming Attendant, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional experience for our patrons while maintaining high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and compliance.
Your duties may include:
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- General bar service and beverage preparation
- Operating POS systems and processing cash/EFTPOS transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of bar and customer areas
- Providing gaming floor customer service
- Assisting patrons with gaming-related enquiries within your responsibilities
- Gaming machine and gaming area monitoring
- Processing gaming transactions and payouts in accordance with venue procedures
- Maintaining gaming floor cleanliness and presentation
- Monitoring patron behaviour and identifying potential RSA or gambling harm concerns
- Following Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling requirements
- Completing required cash-handling and compliance procedures
- Escalating incidents or concerns to the Duty Manager
- Supporting the wider venue team during busy periods

Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Current NSW RSA competency
- Current NSW ARCG competency appropriate to gaming duties
- Availability to work a flexible hospitality roster
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Australian working rights
Previous experience in a pub, hotel, bar or gaming environment is highly regarded; however, applicants with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
