Could you be the Senior Project Contract Manager we’re looking for?
Your future role:
At Alstom, we're delivering innovative and sustainable transport solutions that are shaping the future of mobility. As part of our MetroNET project team in Western Australia, you'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the region's most significant rail programs. Reporting to the Project Contract Management Lead, you'll act as a trusted commercial adviser to the Project Director and leadership team, helping drive strategic decisions, protect Alstom's interests and unlock commercial opportunities across the project lifecycle.
Based across our Bellevue manufacturing facility and Nowergup maintenance depot, you'll work closely with project, legal and customer stakeholders, leading complex negotiations, managing claims and supporting key commercial outcomes that contribute directly to project success.
We’ll look to you for:
Providing strategic commercial and contractual leadership to support project delivery and profitability
Identifying, managing and mitigating contractual risks while maximising commercial opportunities
Leading negotiations with customers and key stakeholders on complex claims, variations and settlements
Acting as Alstom's commercial representative in customer-facing discussions and governance forums
Partnering with legal, project and operational teams to develop pragmatic commercial solutions
Coaching and supporting contract management team members while promoting best practice across the project
All about you:
Extensive experience in contract, commercial or claims management within major infrastructure, rail, transport, engineering or construction environments
Degree-qualified in Law, Engineering, Commerce or a related discipline
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships with customers and project leadership teams
Demonstrated success leading commercial negotiations, claims resolution and risk management activities
Strong commercial judgement combined with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
Previous leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams
