About the role
Temporary opportunity to demonstrate accountability at an advanced practice level for managing and coordinating ongoing care for consumers/patients with cancer or complex conditions requiring fertility preservation services and for the provision of specialist nursing advice, consultation, leadership, and education to interprofessional team members as relevant to the specific context of the role.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge, and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards to fertility preservation for patients with cancer and/or other complex conditions requiring treatments that may lead to infertility.
Provide leadership and direction within the Statewide Fertility Preservation Services which facilitates a consistently high level of nursing care.
