About the role:
Our Disability Support Workers deliver person-centred care and activities to participants at our Waitara hub. You will be implementing participant’s goals to ensure that their activities incorporate what is important for them and what is important to them. You will be providing active support which can include personal care, mobility support and transporting participants to and from their home.
Location: Waitara
Classification: Casual
Availability needed: Monday to Tuesday from 9am to 6pm
Rate: SCHADS level 2 (pay point based on experience) + Casual Loading + Super + Salary Sacrifice

Duties:
- Domestic Assistance – Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Personal Care – Support with showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Achieve Goals Together – Implement individual support plans to help clients reach their personal goals.
- Community Connection – Assist with social outings and community participation.
- Stay Informed – Understand each client’s needs and adapt to changes.
- Positive Engagement – Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, families, and your team.
About you:
- Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable people of all ages.
- NDIS workers check and completion of NDIS orientation.
- A current valid NSW Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
