About the Role
Client Managers are accountable for managing and developing strategic client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of business outcomes by demonstrating value through effective application of CTM products and services. Supporting the Queensland Government this role is responsible for driving customer retention, contract performance and compliance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve client and organisational outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Queensland Government and CTM stakeholders across 4 key categories: Operational, Procurement, Financial, and Senior Leadership.
- Develop a strong understanding of Queensland Government objectives, travel requirements, and contractual obligations to support effective program management and service delivery outcomes.
- Monitor contract performance, service levels, and compliance with Queensland Government travel policies and contractual requirements to mitigate risk.
- Undertake regular client reviews and reporting, providing analysis and recommendations to support cost savings, improved traveller behaviour, policy compliance, and program optimisation.
- Collaborate with Queensland Government Procurement, government agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support procurement activities, contract management, and strategic travel projects and initiatives.
- Lead onboarding, implementation, and training activities for new and existing government agencies, ensuring successful adoption of travel services, systems, and processes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall program performance.
- Provide guidance and support on travel systems, policies, and processes, ensuring timely resolution of client enquiries and issues.
- Represent CTM in client meetings, reviews, presentations, and other stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring professional and effective communication at all times.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated successful Client Management experience within the travel or relevant industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Contract and contracting experience with high diligence.
- Highly capable in making data driven commercial recommendations and decisions.
- High level negotiator who can Negotiate great outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills who can Communicate with confidence.
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills
- Implement processes to manage own work effectively to deliver results to agreed timelines.
- Demonstrate commitment to self-improvement and development; and
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and inclusion.
