Trainee Sonographer – Northern Beaches
Are you looking for a career development opportunity to become a qualified Sonographer? We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to become a Full Time Trainee Sonographer on the Northern Beaches.
Our Ultrasound team use advanced technology equipment, which has been selected with input from Sonographers. All sites operate in a safe and caring environment. We encourage collaboration, a strong work ethic and provide a supportive learning environment. We have an outstanding track record of supporting professional development of all staff.
You will receive excellent and thorough training from our skilled Sonographers working across all Northern Beaches practices.
The successful candidate will:
- Currently employed on a permanent basis by PRP, having successfully completed your probationary period.
- Be patient focused with a high level of communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Be open to feedback and direction provided by senior team members.
- Be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all employees and radiologists across the Northern Beaches.
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work in a team environment.
- Meet the entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography at University.
- Be able to balance full time work and study commitments.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have self-motivation and drive.
- Have strong work ethic
Requirements:
Trainee Sonographers, who are enrolled in a relevant Graduate Diploma and successfully completed units, will be reimbursed the costs of the course. PRP will offer ongoing support and supervision during your training, conditions apply.
