The Role
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our People & Safety team based in Mount Waverly. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide end-to-end HR support to leaders and employees across a diverse operational workforce.
This role has a strong focus on employee relations and industrial relations, with responsibility for workplace investigations, performance and conduct matters, policy interpretation, and organisational change support. You'll work closely with leaders to provide practical advice while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, agreements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance on employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR policies.

Partner with leaders to manage employee relations, performance, conduct and disciplinary matters.

Lead workplace investigations and support fair and consistent case management processes.

Support organisational change initiatives and workforce-related people programs.

Coach and influence leaders to strengthen people management capability and workplace outcomes.

Using workforce insights and people data to identify trends, risks and areas of opportunity.

Support People and Culture team to provide day-to-day operational support including preparation of employment contracts for new hires, onboarding, monitor P&C inbox, update HR systems and workflow processing.
About You

Experience in a HR Business Partner, P&C Advisor or similar role within a blue-collar or operational environment.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations and performance management practices.

Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

Well-developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coach leaders.

Strong investigation, problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.

A collaborative and proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
