ABOUT THE ROLE
Mounties Health and Fitness is currently seeking an experienced Swim School Manager to lead the ongoing success, growth and operational excellence of our Swim School.
This role will oversee all Learn to Swim programs, aquatic education services, staff management, customer experience, program administration and commercial performance.
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Lead, mentor and develop Swim School staff, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance of Swim School employees.

Oversee the day-to-day operation of all Learn to Swim and aquatic education programs.

Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality swimming lessons in line with industry standards and best practice.

Monitor class allocations, swimmer assessments, progression and pathway development.

Drive enrolment growth, customer retention and overall program performance.

Manage Swim School budgets, reporting and commercial outcomes to support business growth.

Collaborate with the Health & Fitness leadership team to enhance member experiences and increase participation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with members, parents, schools and community stakeholders.

Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to grow awareness and engagement.

Ensure compliance with aquatic industry regulations, safety standards and organisational policies.

Maintain accurate program administration, staff qualifications and operational records.

Promote a strong culture of safety, risk management and exceptional customer service.

Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior management.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:

Proven experience with managing Learn to Swim and/or Squad programs

Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills

Sound knowledge of aquatic safety and industry standards

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Experience with aquatic or facility management software

A customer-focused mindset and passion for program growth

Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Qualification

Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certificate
-
Hold a current Working with Children Check
