In this role, you'll:
Reporting to our Director Real Estate & Fleet within our Workplaces branch in our People Communications and Workplaces division, you’ll be responsible for leading enterprise-level governance, strategy and standards for Transport’s light vehicle fleet, setting fleet policy, directing strategic asset management and ensuring risk, compliance and performance frameworks are in place.
You’ll direct strategic asset management through evidence-based advice on fleet composition, utilisation, costs, EV transition, reduction targets, compliance and risk.
You’ll set and maintain enterprise fleet, parking and policy frameworks, including procedures, governance positions, and interpretation of legislation, regulation and government direction.
This permanent position is located in our Macquarie Park office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

About you
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience, you’ll have extensive experience in managing light motor and light commercial vehicle fleets and achieving improved efficiency and sustainability outcomes.
You’ll have highly developed written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently and provide trusted advice to senior executives.
You’ll have demonstrated experience developing and implementing initiatives and strategic programs that maximise asset value improve service levels, customer satisfaction and introducing efficiency gains through standardisation and replacement scheduling.
You’ll have experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with stakeholders (internal customers) / partners (eg: finance, safety) to drive outcomes and are comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical.
