Location: Parramatta or Sydney. Office attendance required 2 –3 days per week.
About the Building Commission NSW
- Established in December 2023, Building Commission NSW (BCNSW) is the building regulator for the construction industry in New South Wales. The new commission will not only be the industry regulator, but also a collaborator with consumers and industry to ensure standards, capabilities, capacity and resilience continue to be lifted across the sector to deliver quality homes and meet the state’s housing targets.

- The Digital & Strategic Program team plays a key role in driving the transformation and delivery of the once in a generation reforms, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to delivery customer centric solutions which supports compliance activity associated with building legislation.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead business analysis activities for a complex Salesforce transformation program, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, prioritised and aligned to strategic outcomes.
- Apply strong Salesforce functional and platform knowledge to shape fit-for-purpose, scalable and configuration-led solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops and decision-making across business, technology and vendor teams, building trusted relationships at all levels.
- Translate complex business needs into high-quality requirements, user stories, business processes and acceptance criteria that support successful delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance across analysis activities, ensuring quality, consistency and traceability from discovery through to implementation.
- Support solution design, testing and deployment to ensure delivered outcomes meet business objectives and operational needs.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading business analysis activities on large-scale, complex digital transformation programs, preferably involving Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms.
- Strong Salesforce functional knowledge, with the ability to shape business requirements into practical, scalable and configuration-led solutions.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, business SMEs, architects, delivery teams and implementation partners in complex delivery environments.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complex business challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments, managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced program setting.
- A collaborative, proactive and outcome-focused mindset, with a strong commitment to quality, delivery and continuous improvement.

Salary Grade 0910, with the base salary for this role starting at $133348 base plus superannuation
