About the Role
The Project Officer, Community Investment (Identified) works as part of a team to support and deliver projects that advance the establishment and ongoing functions of the Aboriginal Languages Trust. The role builds and maintains relationships with Aboriginal language communities and stakeholders across New South Wales.
You will work with the team on project management, grants program coordination, liaison, monitoring and reporting, as well as consultation and engagement with stakeholders.

Stakeholder Relationships: Foster and enhance partnerships between the Trust and Aboriginal language organisations and communities, while gathering insights into language activities throughout New South Wales.
Community Contribution: Support initiatives that benefit language communities, including the Trust’s Community Investments program, additional grant schemes, the Languages Gathering, and various network groups.
Knowledge Sharing: Communicate information on community language goals, challenges, and requirements within the Trust to guide program development and organisational activities.
Communication: Assist in the creation and execution of communication strategies, tools, and initiatives to ensure effective engagement with both the community and other stakeholders.

Administration: Prepare comprehensive project documentation, such as reports, briefs, submissions, status updates, and correspondence as required. Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with statutory and record keeping obligations.

Salary: Classification Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($113,574 - $125,72 plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
