Experienced Café All-Rounder – Barista, Grill & Kitchen
Hotts Cafe in Hoppers Crossing is looking for an experienced Café All-Rounder to join our team.
This is primarily a Monday to Friday position with daytime hours, however occasional weekend work may be requested.
We’re looking for someone who is confident across all areas of a busy café and can jump in wherever needed.
Duties include:
- Making consistently great coffee
- Grill and short-order cooking
- Preparing breakfast and lunch orders
- Food preparation and kitchen duties
- Taking customer orders and using the POS
- Serving customers and providing friendly service
- Preparing takeaway and delivery orders
- Assisting with catering preparation
- Cleaning and keeping work areas organised
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid previous café experience
- Is confident on a commercial coffee machine
- Has grill and short-order cooking experience
- Can work quickly and calmly during busy periods
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has great customer service skills
- Is happy working as part of a small team
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Is comfortable doing a bit of everything
Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
Weekends: Occasional weekend work may be requested
Location: Hotts Cafe, Hoppers Crossing VIC
