We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team at Yield Café. If you take pride in keeping a kitchen running smoothly and love being part of a fast-paced hospitality environment, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a casual position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. You'll be working across kitchen prep and dishwashing duties, playing a key role in keeping our kitchen clean, organised, and ready for service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Washing, sanitising, and organising dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment
- Assisting with food prep including chopping, portioning, and mise en place
- Keeping the kitchen clean and compliant with food safety standards
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during service
- Restocking and rotating ingredients and supplies
What We're Looking For
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not essential — we're happy to train the right person
- Food safety certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexible availability including weekends
