FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement, and Pouring) experienced labourer required in Sydney for structural concrete projects. Duties include formwork assembly, steel fixing, concrete placing, site preparation, and cleanup.
Key Responsibilities
- Formwork: Shifting, staging, erecting and dismantling modular or timber formwork.
- Steel Fixing: Unloading, cutting, bending, and tying steel reinforcement bars (reo) into position before concrete pours.
- Pouring & Finishing: concrete placement, vibrating, screeding, and performing concrete patching or grinding to achieve required surface finishes.
- General Labor: Site clean-up, moving heavy materials, digging, and operating basic hand and power tools.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in the responsibilities above.
- Ability to read and interpret structural / formwork drawings and sketches
- Construction Induction Card: Mandatory valid NSW White Card.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Steel-cap boots, high-vis clothing, hard hat, and safety glasses.
- Physical Fitness: High level of physical fitness required for heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and standing for long periods.
- Desirable Tickets: Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Working at Heights, or a valid Driver’s License
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
