Real Futures is working closely with UN Women to deliver a program exclusively for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in the Greater Western Sydney region, Kempsey New South Wales, and in Carnarvon Western Australia, with the financial support of the BHP Foundation.
The Women’s Business Second Chance (WBSC) Hub is a ground-breaking program for women at risk of being left behind. It aims to give them the chance to achieve quality learning, entrepreneurship and employment outcomes through access to educational, employment and support services, tailored to their needs as learners and future earners.
What will you be doing?

Support to WB2C Reach Out Officers and other staff
- Develop, support, motivate and a high performing team that is passionate and committed to building community
- Deliver aspirant supports and referrals
- Liaise with community stakeholders
- Identify, develop and deliver small- and large-scale projects
- Ensure participating stakeholders are appropriately trained and support our operations
- Engage in business development to increase opportunities for participating women

Knowledge/Skills
-
Tertiary Qualifications or similar experience in Administration, Human Services, Business, Marketing, counselling, Employment Services fields desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of labour market strategies, training or development programs
- Demonstrated leadership and management
- Demonstrated experience in business development activities
- Knowledge of relevant government programs and funding opportunities
- Understanding of Aboriginal women and the issues they face
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to comply with Real Futures’ code of conduct, company policies and procedures and uphold the organisations values in all interactions

Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle

- Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
