We currently have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our Philanthropy team. You will lead the development of high-value donor engagement, be a major contributor to functional business plans and may be used as an SME across the Institute. You will drive program growth through your effective leadership of 2 experienced Relationship Managers, utilising your fiscal management, planning, innovation, efficacy, & continuous improvement skillset.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will work collegially to shape and deliver the ‘Journey of One’ strategy, driving growth and engagement with our high value supporter base. This will be achieved through first-class relationship management practices, spanning lead identification and qualification through to stewardship and long-term engagement.
To succeed you will have…
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the not-for-profit or commercial sector generating net income through strong relationships, proposals, and effective relationship management.
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in a business, marketing, or relevant field, with demonstrated capability in fundraising/sales, stakeholder, and financial management.
- Evidence of leadership and people management experience in a similar role,
- Experience contributing to a fundraising or commercial strategy including its implementation, business planning, reporting and preparation of presentations for senior management and a board.
- Strong track record of securing high value gifts, managing a prospect pipeline, and delivering best in class stewardship.
- The ability to achieve results in high pressure environments and experience working to tight deadlines and budgets.
