What you will do
As Manager, Audit and Assurance, you will lead the department's audit and assurance function.
You will help strengthen governance and improve how assurance supports decision-making.
You will:
- lead the department's audit and assurance program through risk-based planning and high-quality delivery
- guide and develop a high-performing team while overseeing assurance governance functions
- provide expert advice to leaders and committees on audit and assurance matters
- oversee internal and external audit activity and resolve complex or sensitive issues
- improve assurance frameworks and use insights to drive continuous improvement and stronger accountability.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional certifications in audit, risk, governance or a related field are desirable. Strong practical experience delivering audit and assurance work in complex environments is highly regarded.
You should also have:
- strong knowledge of audit frameworks and assurance practices
- experience applying recognised standards and quality controls
- excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- the ability to build inclusive teams and productive working relationships.
