About the Role
We are looking for an organised, confident and motivated Administration & Recruitment officer to join our team and take on a varied administrative role within the disability/NDIS sector.
This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly the same. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the business, assisting with staff recruitment and onboarding, communicating with clients and support workers, creating content and documents, and helping coordinate our programs and activities.
The ideal person will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working independently and be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicating professionally with clients, families, support workers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Preparing and updating internal documents, forms and resource
- Assisting with recruitment and arranging interviews
- Communicating with prospective support workers
- Assisting with staff onboarding and induction
- Preparing training materials and resources for support workers
NDIS Administration
- Good understanding of how the NDIS operates and the disability support sector
- Understanding of NDIS terminology, support types and general processes
Programs & Activities
- Researching activities, venues and community events
- Creating school holiday program schedules and promotional materials
- Communicating program information to families and participants
Social Media & Content
- Creating engaging social media posts and promotional content
- Using Canva to create graphics, flyers, program schedules and other marketing materials
- Assisting with maintaining the company's social media presence
Skills & Experience
- The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in an administration or office-based role
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience using Canva
- Confidence learning and using new systems and software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Recruitment and staff onboarding
- NDIS administration

- Coordinating events, programs or activities

Pay: $36.22 – $45.28 per hour
