Located on the grounds of St Francis College, our OSHC service is closely connected to the school community. We provide Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 60 children, offering a safe, engaging and welcoming environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Our dedicated team delivers
a play-based, child-led program that encourages children to explore their interests, strengths and creativity. We value children's voices and work alongside them to create meaningful experiences that reflect their ideas and passions.
Key Responsibilities
As an OSHC Educator, you'll create engaging play-based experiences that support children's learning, wellbeing and development. Working alongside a collaborative team, you'll help foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, connected and inspired to thrive.
Job Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) would be desirable.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an OSHC, education, recreation, or care setting, not essential but highly regarded.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues.
