About the role
As Plant Administrator, you’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the site Plant and Maintenance team, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor and broader project team.
You’ll help coordinate the administrative requirements associated with the project’s plant and equipment, including documentation, reporting, invoices, records and general support to ensure the maintenance function operates efficiently.
The role requires someone who is organised, comfortable managing competing priorities and able to build strong working relationships with both operational and project personnel.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Plant and Maintenance team
- Maintain plant, maintenance and project records and documentation
- Assist with document control, filing and archiving requirements
- Process and manage invoices, purchase documentation and associated administration
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of plant and maintenance reports and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records relating to plant and equipment activities
- Assist with timesheets, data entry and general administrative requirements
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and other documentation as required
- Support the Workshop Supervisor and maintenance team with day-to-day administrative requirements
- Liaise with project personnel, suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and documentation
- Ensure records and information are accurate, current and maintained in accordance with project requirements
- Provide general administrative support across the site Plant function as required
Your skills and experience
- Previous experience in an administration role within construction, mining, resources, plant maintenance or a similar operational environment
- Previous Plant or Maintenance administration experience will be highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy site environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Good computer skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with document control, invoicing, purchase orders, timesheets or maintenance administration will be highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with operational, maintenance and project personnel
- A proactive and practical approach to problem solving
- Previous FIFO or Pilbara project experience will be highly regarded
- Construction White Card
- Valid C Class driver’s licence
- Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth
