Join our warm, family-run Italian bakery café in the lovely residential area of Smithfield. We’re looking for a junior café all-rounder to join our team on weekends — perfect for someone still at school who wants a weekend job.
About the Role
Casual junior position
Weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Shifts vary week to week depending on how busy we are
You’ll be working in a fast-paced café environment, helping with a bit of everything and serving our wonderful local customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving customers with friendly and efficient service
- Using the POS system to take orders and process payments
- Serving food and helping maintain the display cabinets
- Assisting with coffee service
- Clearing and wiping tables
- Washing dishes and helping keep the café clean
- Restocking items and helping with general café tasks
- Supporting the team during busy service times
What We’re Looking For
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Comfortable serving customers and using a POS system
- Friendly, polite and confident with people
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well in a busy environment
- A team player who’s happy to help wherever needed

Pay: $24.95 – $31.19 per hour
