The Alpine Shire Council is currently seeking a motivated and experienced team leader to oversee a small multi-disciplined Unsealed Roads team based in Myrtleford. You will possess leadership skills with excellent communication and customer service skills. Additionally, you will have the ability to effectively use technology relevant to the role.
About the Role
The role involves a good understanding of heavy machinery maintenance and improvement activities, ensuring high standards of presentation and public satisfaction, and safely working as part of the roading environment.
Our plant operators play a key role in delivering high quality public infrastructure and civil construction outcomes from maintenance and repairs of unsealed roads including pothole patching and surface grating to operating with mobile plant and heavy machinery.
The position is Band 4, with an hourly rate starting at $36.77/hr, (including industry allowance), plus superannuation and leave loading.
