The Staff Software Engineer (Agentic Search) role at Marqo is a senior technical leadership position focused on building large-scale AI-powered search and retrieval systems for ecommerce. The engineer is expected to lead architecture decisions, mentor other engineers, and take ownership of systems from design through production.
Job Description
Key responsibilities
Design and build scalable distributed software systems.
Develop high-performance search, retrieval, and machine learning applications.
Architect AI-powered search and recommendation solutions.
Own projects end-to-end, from design to deployment and ongoing operations.
Collaborate with customers and product teams to solve complex technical problems.
Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
Improve engineering standards, system reliability, and platform performance.
Pay: From $15,000.00 per month
