Area Manager – Sydney
Yo-Chi is continuing to grow across New South Wales, and we’re excited to introduce a brand new Area Manager opportunity to support the next stage of our Sydney expansion.
This newly created role will play a key part in shaping the future of our NSW operations, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive performance, elevate standards, and develop incredible venue teams across the region.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast paced hospitality environments, leads from the front, and genuinely loves developing people. As we continue expanding across Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to influence how we grow, strengthen culture across multiple venues, and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Yo-Chi NSW.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop Venue General Managers and their teams across multiple Sydney venues
- Build a strong culture of accountability, performance, energy, and care across your patch
- Stay highly visible and hands on within venues, supporting teams in real time and leading from the floor
- Drive operational excellence across labour, service standards, product quality, cleanliness, and guest experience
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, consistency, and team capability across venues
- Own and influence key commercial outcomes including sales, labour, COGS, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Support leaders through coaching, performance conversations, development planning, and succession pathways
- Ensure Yo-Chi brand standards are consistently executed as the business continues to scale
- Partner with Support Office teams to support local marketing initiatives, activations, and community engagement
- Maintain a strong focus on compliance, food safety, and workplace safety standards across all venues
- Create an environment where teams feel motivated, supported, and genuinely connected to the brand
About You:
- 3+ years’ experience as an Area Manager within hospitality (QSR) or retail.
- A strong people leader who knows how to coach, motivate, and develop high performing teams
- Commercially minded with experience managing labour, cost control, operational KPIs, and venue performance
- Hands on and highly engaged, you’re not afraid to jump in and lead from the floor
- Able to balance operational execution with people leadership and long-term team development
- Passionate about creating strong culture, lifting standards, and building future leaders
