ACE ALLOYS is expanding and looking for an experienced Assembler/Panel Beater or Apprentice to join our specialist repair team.
We are an established Panel Repair and refinishing workshop with over 30 years of industry experience, working with dealerships, insurance companies and trade customers across Melbourne.
About the Role
You will be involved in all aspects of Assembling/Repairs and refinishing using industry-leading equipment and processes.
Duties Include
- Removing and refitting damaged panels
- Replacing or repairing damaged parts using mechanical, hydraulic, and metalworking equipment
- Repairing dents with plastic fillers and files
- Performing other cosmetic work as required to maintain the like-new look of the car as instructed by management
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in automotive refinishing, preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
- Reliable and motivated team player
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Inspecting completed work for defects or inconsistencies
- Following all workplace safety procedures and using PPE at all times
