About The Role
As a Business Analyst, you’ll join a collaborative feature team delivering customer and business outcomes through two-week sprints. You’ll connect business and technology teams, translating complex needs into clear requirements and quality solutions across customer-facing web and mobile experiences, back-office platforms, and internal systems. Working closely with Product Owners, UX, Engineering Managers, developers and testers, you’ll help shape solutions from discovery through to delivery.
This is a 6-month Fixed-Term opportunity.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, and prioritise requirements using data, process analysis, and a range of business analysis techniques.
- Translate customer and business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process models, and clear delivery documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, UX specialists and subject matter experts to assess solution trade-offs across usability, functionality, and performance.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement and sprint planning, while maintaining delivery artefacts in Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to the BA community by sharing knowledge, developing reusable assets, and exploring how AI and experimentation can improve business analysis practices.
About You
While we are big on development and offer on the job training, we want to set you up for success.
You’re an analytical and curious problem solver who enjoys bringing clarity to complex challenges. You communicate confidently, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and know how to influence outcomes while keeping teams aligned. Comfortable working independently or alongside other BAs, you bring an adaptable, collaborative mindset and are keen to experiment with emerging approaches, including AI, to improve how work gets done.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, including experience within an e-commerce environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in agile delivery teams, with a strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and agile business analysis practices.
