Priceworth is an importer and distributor of furniture and homewares, located in Rocklea QLD with a vision to provide Australian with versatile options for quality products with an affordable price tag. To achieve our vision, we are looking for a hard-working and experienced delivery driver to join our growing team. As a delivery driver, you are expected to listen to instructions and follow company operational procedures to execute deliveries across the Brisbane metro.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight local
- Delivery to our customer base in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Unload and set up furniture and appliances, this will including heavy lifting
- Must follow company operation procedure and instructions
- Have strong knowledge of furniture installation
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Deliveries to route customers based in the Sydney area
- Complete daily run sheet
Eligibility & Skills:
- Valid Australian Driver’s License (required)
- Good driving record (required)
- Have sound knowledge of the Brisbane Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
- Heavy Rigid Truck Driving License (preferred)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize jobs and work in a team and independently
- Be well presented, organised, with a great work ethic and a warm and friendly personality

Education:
- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- 4.5 ton Truck: 1 year (Preferred)
- Furniture delivery: 1 year (Preferred)
- Furniture installation: 1 year (Preferred)
- interstate driving: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Australian driver's licence (Preferred)
- forklift (Preferred)
