About the role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse Allied Health service.
Working closely with clinicians and senior staff, you'll assist with both clinical and program activities to ensure efficient service delivery and positive patient outcomes.
Support Allied Health Professionals by delivering delegated assessments and treatments within defined frameworks
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-focused care
Assist with clinical processes, documentation, referrals, and preparation of treatment activities
Contribute to service improvement, resource coordination, and mentoring of junior staff within a culturally safe environment

Requirements
This position may be required to obtain a Blue Card if clinically seeing a child under the age of 18 years as part of role. The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check; from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
