The Company:
PVE Electrical Group is an experienced electrical engineering design services firm located in NSW, Australia, providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of our clients.
We are seeking a full-time Mechatronics Engineer to plan, design, develop and oversee electrical engineering systems and infrastructure across our electrical projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Design and develop integrated mechatronic solutions incorporating electrical, electronic, sensing, monitoring and automated control systems for commercial and residential electrical projects.
- Prepare engineering designs, schematics, technical specifications and documentation for electrical distribution, solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and intelligent electrical systems.
- Integrate sensors, communication devices, programmable controllers and monitoring equipment to improve system performance, energy efficiency and operational reliability.
- Analyse project requirements and engineering data to develop practical mechatronic solutions for electrical infrastructure and renewable energy installations.
- Review engineering drawings, technical submissions and project documentation to ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and engineering design requirements.
Requirements/Skills Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in a closely related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of automation, robotics, control systems, PLCs, instrumentation and integrated engineering systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs and control diagrams.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
