We are looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Cleaner to carry out thorough, machine-based cleans at an aquatic centre on the Gold Coast. This is not a standard nightly clean — you'll be performing deep, detailed cleaning using specialist equipment to maintain the facility to the highest possible standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Cleaning:
- Ride-on and walk-behind scrubber operation
- High-pressure washing of pool decks and surrounds
- Wet and dry vacuum extraction
- Burnishing and polishing of hard floors
Detail Cleaning:
- Deep clean of change rooms, showers, and amenities
- Window and glass partition cleaning
- Grout scrubbing, tile detailing, and descaling
- Sanitising high-touch surfaces and wet areas
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Must reside on the Gold Coast (essential)
- Experience operating commercial cleaning machines (scrubbers, pressure washers, polishers)
- Strong eye for detail — this role is about thoroughness, not speed alone
- Comfortable working in wet environments and around pool areas
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and safe handling (MSDS)
- Reliable, physically fit, and available for evening shifts 7:00pm–11:00pm
- White card or relevant WHS training (desirable)
