About the opportunity
Play a key role in shaping how critical building systems are designed, delivered and assured across NSW’s major health infrastructure projects. As Program Director, Building Services Advisory, you will lead a portfolio wide function providing strategic advice across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and other essential building systems. You will drive consistent, whole-of‑lifecycle approaches to planning, design, delivery and handover, ensuring assets are reliable, sustainable and meet performance and compliance requirements. Working across a complex stakeholder environment, you will influence outcomes, strengthen governance and ensure infrastructure is fit for purpose and built to support long term operational needs.
This is a full time ongoing role. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
You are an experienced and capable leader with a strong background in building services, engineering or infrastructure delivery within complex environments. You bring both strategic insight and practical expertise, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and translate technical requirements into clear, coordinated outcomes. You build trusted relationships across stakeholders, influence decision making at senior levels and navigate competing priorities with confidence. With a focus on quality, performance and continuous improvement, you lead high performing teams and deliver outcomes that balance cost, risk and long term asset value.
