Saltwater Sushi and Oyster Bar is a vibrant dining spot within the Queen Victoria Market Food Hall, known for delivering fresh and high-quality sushi and seafood. We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our dedicated team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand/Cook with full availability to work 5 days per week. Please note that Mondays and Wednesdays are days off, and applications for less than 5 days will not be accepted.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients, including cutting, chopping, and marinating.
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes alongside the head chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Handle dishwashing and ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned properly.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a kitchen hand or cooking role.
- Availability to work 5 days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays off).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
