What this job involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced Global Facilities Management Lead that will head the global operations team across USA, EMEA and APAC for a global technology client. This role requires subject matter expertise in building services (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, hydraulics) with extensive knowledge of facilities management operations.
The role requires the management of building facilities services, drives technical outcomes, performs technical root causing, identify trends in maintenance to drive efficiency, cost optimization and asset reliability. You will bring proven and effective management of global account resources, a full spectrum of facilities management, client relationship management, ability to develop talent and demonstrated ability to constantly balance operational, engineering, finance and resource management.
Main Duties:
- Partner with senior account leadership to execute the integrated facilities management (IFM) strategic operating plan, ensuring alignment with the client's real estate objectives, business goals, and contractual obligations while positioning JLL as a best-in-class service delivery reference for business expansion.

Build and manage high-performing teams by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging business intelligence, adopting best practices, and implementing new tools and process management techniques that drive service delivery efficiencies.

Oversee all client workplace experiences and facilities services activities across JLL-managed properties globally, ensuring total contract compliance, meeting all performance specifications, conducting regular FM asset evaluations for HSSE compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives with technical root cause analysis capabilities.

Proactively develop relationships with the client's workplace team to exceed service delivery expectations, drive annual plans for high-quality results, conduct regular workplace inspections per agreed programs, manage complaints related to service providers (cleaning, F&B, waste, FOH), and recommend asset replacement/refurbishment works aligned with lifecycle programs.

Manage effective communication between teams and client contacts during service outages and facilities incidents, lead root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures or service delivery lapses, and provide both onsite and remote out-of-hours support as required.

Deliver financial performance by contributing to portfolio financial management, managing annual operations financial plans, controlling expenses and capital within approved budgets, compiling financial commitment data for annual property budgets, and preparing recommendation papers for cost approvals within designated delegation limits.

Regularly review operating expenses to identify cost savings consistent with asset management objectives, support client workplace initiatives, work with account asset leads to prepare capital asset renewal plans and forecasts, and develop business case justifications for asset strategy recommendations.

Champion a safety-first culture by fully embedding safety at the core of all operations and ensuring compliance with all OH&S, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures across assigned properties.

Recognize and articulate opportunities for growth, communicate the value proposition effectively, and ensure implementation of growth initiatives across the portfolio to contribute to company expansion.

Manage 5 direct reports to maintain motivation, engagement, and personal development; advance diversity and inclusion priorities through strategic talent moves (hiring, rotation, promotion); execute human resource management including performance management, development planning, succession planning, and staff exits; and build actionable, measurable career development plans with consistent progress conversations for every direct report.

6+ years of experience in facility and operations leadership is required with responsibility for leading high-performing teams in a service environment.

Technical skills (certified/accreditation) and experience in related trade, with advanced knowledge of Facilities Management industry best practices and technical application.

Knowledge of commercial real estate, project management and real estate finance fundamentals.
-
Significant experience with vendor performance management.

Accomplished leader. Has a successful track record of delivering operating plans through leading practices and rigorous performance standards.

Exemplary Client Relationship Management skills managing up & down within a high-performing JLL and Client organization.

Strong team builder. Motivates, develops and challenges team members to maximize their own, and teams’ potential.

Proven time management and delegation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment.

Strong analytical ability, judgment, problem-solving and crisis management skills with the ability to gather data, assess situations and quickly develop & execute solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Desirable: technically proficient in basic computer applications, G-suite, Corrigo, Confluence and Jira.

Engineering degree qualified in any fields would be an advantage
