About the Role
The People Operations Manager leads the optimisation, governance, and continuous improvement of CTM’s people systems, reporting, and operational processes across the employee lifecycle.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficiency, integrity, automation, and compliance across all People systems and workflows — from recruitment and onboarding through to performance management, payroll integration, governance, analytics, and regulatory reporting. As a systems expert and people leader, the People Operations Manager drives data-informed decision-making, enhances automation, ensures compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements, and builds operational excellence within the People function.
The role leads a small team of People Administrators and works closely with the Payroll Manager, HR Business Partners, Global HR Systems, ICT and Finance to ensure seamless integration, accuracy, and continuous improvement of People Operations.
About You
- Ability to harness HR data and technology to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical capability and advanced reporting skills.
- Skilled in process improvement, automation, and change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR Operations, Systems, or Compliance roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing small teams within a HR or People Operations function.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation
