Why You'll Love Working at Suncare
Getting older can mean giving up a lot, your home, your routine, your sense of independence. We don't think it should.
At Suncare, we're passionate about helping older Australians continue living the life they love, in the place they love most, their own home.
With more than 800 team members and 200 volunteers across Queensland, we're known for delivering care that's personal, local and built on genuine relationships.
Whether it's helping with daily tasks, supporting someone to stay connected to their community, or simply sharing a cuppa and a chat, we make every moment matter.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you'll help older people remain independent, connected and confident in their everyday lives.
You'll provide one-on-one support to customers in their homes and local communities across the Sunshine Coast, with a particular focus on our northern and central coastal communities, including Coolum, Peregian, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba.
No two days are the same, but every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Your Day May Include:
- Delivering personalised support in line with individual care plans
- Assisting with personal care, mobility support and medication reminders
- Preparing meals and promoting healthy nutrition

- Helping customers attend appointments, activities and outings
You'll use your own reliable vehicle to travel between customer homes and assist with transporting customers within the community when required.
We have multiple casual opportunities available across the Sunshine Coast region and are particularly interested in hearing from applicants based in our northern and central Sunshine Coast communities.
While shifts are offered based on customer needs, we're ideally seeking team members who can provide availability Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

We believe real care starts with real belonging. That means creating a workplace where everyone - no matter their background, culture, or story - feels seen, respected, and safe to be themselves.
We welcome applications from First Nations people, the LGBTIQA+ community, people with disabilities, and those from culturally diverse backgrounds. Your story matters here.
