Position Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a growing construction business. You will play a key role in supporting the successful planning, mobilisation and delivery of multiple projects across Australia.
Working closely with the operational teams, you will coordinate project activities from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring documentation, resources, procurement and reporting requirements are managed efficiently. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving and takes pride in keeping projects organised and on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project mobilisation activities, including workforce, subcontractor and plant mobilisation.
- Provide administrative support to the team throughout the project lifecycle (project schedules, planning, forecasting, reporting and project tracking).
- Coordinate labour and resource allocations across multiple projects.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and workforce logistics.
- Process purchase orders, receipting and supplier coordination.
- Monitor project costs and assist with financial reporting and cost tracking.
- Support document control, revision management and project record keeping.
- Assist in monitoring project milestones, action items, variations and deliverables.
- Attend project and client meetings where required and prepare meeting outcomes.
- Ensure project information is accurately maintained across project management systems.
About You
To be successful you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Financial administration experience including purchase orders, cost tracking and reporting.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports and project documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using project management and document control systems.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously while supporting a wider team.
- Australian working rights.
- Prepared to work a hybrid model between office and project sites.
Desirable
- Experience working within infrastructure, utilities, civil construction projects.
- Exposure to project scheduling software.
- Experience preparing or reviewing SWMS, JSEAs or project safety documentation.
- Understanding of project contracts, variations and change management processes.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
