Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow recipes and established quality guidelines
- Liaise effectively with Front of House (FOH) staff regarding specials, menu changes, and service requirements
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, OH&S, and workplace regulations
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef (preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible and reliable with rostering requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
