Pastry Chef
About the role
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day pastry operation at Ashe, from preparation and service through to maintaining the highest standards of consistency, presentation and quality. You'll work closely with the Head Pastry Chef, Executive Chef and wider kitchen team to develop desserts and pastry that are thoughtful, technically precise and relevant to the restaurant.

About you
- Previous experience in a quality-driven restaurant, ideally within a hatted or fine dining environment
- Strong technical pastry skills and a genuine interest in modern pastry
- Takes pride in precision, presentation and consistency
- Organised, clean and disciplined in approach
- Can work independently while contributing positively to the wider kitchen team
- Ambitious, curious and keen to continue developing skills
- Communicates well and maintains a calm, professional approach during service
- Takes ownership and has the initiative to improve the way things are done

Ashe is a contemporary Southeast Asian restaurant located in Sydney CBD on the corner of Angel Place and Ash Street, featuring an 80-seat dining room and a 26-seat private dining room.
