Based at the Sexual Health Clinic in Jeffery House, Parramatta, you'll work within one of Western Sydney's most significant health precincts. Steeped in more than 80 years of healthcare history and located on a site that has served the Parramatta community for over 200 years, Jeffery House blends rich heritage with modern community healthcare. Today, it is home to a range of specialist Western Sydney health services, including the Sexual Health Clinic, where you'll support the delivery of high-quality, confidential and patient-centred outpatient care. What you'll be doing
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinics. You'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support while delivering exceptional customer service in a confidential, busy healthcare environment.
This role requires you to:
Coordinate appointments, enquiries, cancellations and patient bookings with professionalism and empathy.
Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and management across two outpatient clinics.
Maintain accurate patient records and data using the Specialist Health Information Program (SHIP) and other health systems.
Prepare meeting documentation, maintain clinic supplies and support the day-to-day operation of the service.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives while maintaining confidentiality, patient safety and person-centred care.
