Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to restaurant standard and to specified recipes
- Maintain food quality, portion control, plating standards, and presentation
- Follow safe food handling practices and hygiene procedures at all times
- Support kitchen service across prep, service, and close-down (dishwashing & cleaning)

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Completed an apprenticeship (hands-on progression, not classroom-only experience)
- Proven ability to actually cook in a commercial kitchen environment (service-ready)
- Strong understanding of kitchen processes, basic section work, and consistency
Important Information

- This is not a training hotel and the position is not offered as a training/apprenticeship pathway.
What We’re Looking For
- Availability for evening service (4pm–9pm) and ability to work 5 nights weekly
- You enjoy food and laughter, not tantrums and entitlement.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and professional kitchen behaviour
