KITCHEN HAND / FOOD PREP

We’re a busy, fast-paced café looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team and support our chef with daily food prep and service. This role is perfect for someone who loves cafés, enjoys variety, and thrives in a team environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting the chef with food preparation (portioning, assembling, batching)
- Basic cooking and heating tasks as directed
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
- General kitchen duties
- Receiving and putting away stock
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met
- Helping during busy service periods
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous kitchen experience
- Is fast, reliable, and able to follow directions
- Works well in a small team
- Is clean, organised and takes pride in their work
- Can handle a busy environment
- Has good communication skills
- Available Monday–Friday with daytime shifts only

Pay: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour
