What you'll do
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll help shape the future of our Electrical team while leading the delivery of major aviation, defence and data centre projects.
This is a role for someone who enjoys influencing technical outcomes, developing people and building trusted client relationships. You'll work closely with senior leaders across Aurecon and play a key role in growing capability within the team as demand across our market sectors continues to increase.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and opportunities to support some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects, you'll have the platform to make a genuine impact while further developing your leadership career.
In this role, you will:

Lead technical delivery on complex and multidisciplinary electrical engineering projects

Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project stakeholders

Provide guidance, mentoring and technical oversight to engineers and designers

Drive project strategy, design decisions and quality outcomes

Support bids, proposals and client engagement activities

Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and secure future work

Partner with leadership to build capability and grow the electrical team

Contribute to the development of future leaders across the business

Play an active role in shaping team culture, performance and technical excellence
What you'll bring

10+ years' experience within consulting engineering or major infrastructure environments

Demonstrated success leading the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects

Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability

Experience leading, mentoring or developing engineers and designers

Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery drivers

Ability to influence project outcomes and provide strategic technical advice

Experience across aviation, defence, data centres, buildings or major infrastructure projects

Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional recognition highly regarded
-
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance highly desirable
