We are a growing pet care business providing doggy daycare, dog walking, pet sitting, pet transportation, and grooming services. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pet Care Attendant to join our team.
This is a varied role that requires flexibility and a genuine passion for animal care. The successful applicant will assist across multiple areas of the business depending on daily operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and caring for dogs attending daycare.
- Monitoring dog behaviour and ensuring a safe, positive environment for all pets.
- Conducting individual and group dog walks.
- Providing in-home pet sitting visits, including feeding, exercising, and caring for pets.
- Transporting pets safely to and from appointments, daycare, grooming sessions, and client homes.
- Cleaning and maintaining daycare, transport vehicles, and pet care areas to a high standard.
- Providing exceptional customer service and communicating professionally with clients.
- Assisting with general business operations and supporting team members as required.
About You
- Passionate about animal care and welfare.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Flexible and willing to perform a variety of duties as the business grows.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Holding a current driver's licence is preffered however not essential.
- Previous experience working with animals is highly regarded but not essential.
