About the role
Bunge is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance & Engineering team based at our Adelaide Ports operations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of maintenance employees and contractors to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of fixed and mobile plant across our port facilities. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, managing resources and budgets, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring assets remain available to support operational requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability and availability
- Plan, schedule and allocate labour, contractors and resources to support operational and maintenance requirements
- Drive a strong safety culture through risk management, incident investigations and contractor management processes
- Monitor maintenance budgets, contractor expenditure and resource requirements to ensure cost-effective operations
- Analyse equipment performance and maintenance trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce downtime
- Ensure critical spare parts, consumables and maintenance records are accurately managed and maintained
- Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance employees, including performance management, training and mentoring activities
- Support capital projects, continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with quality, food safety and environmental requirements
About you
- Proven experience in managing teams with a trade qualification in electro-technology, mechanical fitting, diesel, or similar
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, bulk handling or similar environments
- Strong people leadership skills, including performance management, coaching and team development
- Experience planning maintenance activities, managing contractors and coordinating operational priorities
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience using CMMS and maintenance reporting systems
- Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces when required
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
